Ece Yüksel is a multidisciplinary artist weaving stories into tactile forms. Through hand-tufted rugs designed to hang on walls, she explores the space between art and object. Her work merges craft and concept, blending playfulness with emotional depth. Each piece carries traces of time, touch, and thought.

Her practice centers on the emotional residue of everyday life. The moments that linger, the moods that shape us, the instinctive gestures we rarely articulate. She gravitates toward themes of memory, vulnerability, play, and the quiet rebellions of the inner world.

Based in Istanbul, she works independently as an artist and designer. Since 2018, she has worked within the carpet industry across a wide range of techniques; from machine-made and printed carpets to hand-woven and tuft rugs. Over the years, she contributed to the creation of mass-produced collections for international markets, while also designing custom pieces for hotels, homes, and workspaces in Turkey. These experiences, gained within various studios and companies, shaped her understanding of both the industrial and bespoke sides of the craft.

Today, she brings together this technical foundation and her artistic sensibility to build a small, focused, and deeply personal practice — one that values intentional making, emotional clarity, and craftsmanship at a human scale.
